Reflections
1939, New York, Model created a series of photographs of shop windows, which was called 'Reflections'. By photographing the reflections in the glass, she also captures different parts and lifestyles in New York. The way she takes the images look more like, two pictures merged together than one image itself.

Response
The majority of the pictures were taken around my house, out of reflections of windows, framed pictures or just a sheet of glass. I decided to edit some of the images into B&W as nearly all of Lisette Model and Lee Friedlander's are like that. However I decided to leave some images, as I really liked the colours in them, for example with the first image of the coloured set. I took this image looking out the window, with the flash on, because I added the flash it created a weird affect but the image also came out with more colour than without it.
